Our Zinfandel vineyard, planted in 1926 high atop our wind-swept Mount Veeder estate, produces a wine of singular character. Aromas of bay leaf, laurel, and hints of wild herbs echo the vineyard’s forested surroundings, complementing fresh berry notes of blackberry and hawthorn. The palate reveals rich plum flavors with hints of boysenberry pie, softening the mountain tannins. This wine’s distinctive complexity culminates in an enduring finish that encapsulates the spirit and character of its historic vineyard.
